Bee Co. 4-H Shooting Sports Club
Learning the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling!

What it's all about
In this 4-H club, we have monthly meetings in the fall along with our two Safety Trainings. These trainings are mandatory in order for members to participate in shooting when we start practice in January. The shooting season is from January to April, in which we generally have 8-10 competitions with other counties in and out of our 4-H district. Shooters compete in their own age division and are placed individually (1st-10th) as well as by team (1st-3rd) at the awards ceremony following every competition. The shooters are always bound to have fun at every match and look forward to beating their own scores and competing with fellow shooters.
Safety comes first!
In 4-H Shooting Sports, safety is our number one priority. The Bee County 4-H Rifle Club has never had any firearm-related injuries or accidents since its founding in 1995. All practices and competitions are run by certified range officers and coaches and all shooters are required to attend two safety trainings before pulling the trigger.
Once we have safety under our belt, coaches are always present to work one-on-one with the shooters in order to better their shooting skills and to make sure everyone has fun!
